pcb assembly technician (part-time).

Fiddlie is seeking a careful, patient, and detail-oriented person to join us for hands-on PCB assembly work. You'll be placing and soldering small surface-mount components onto circuit boards using tweezers under magnification - precision work that rewards steady hands and a methodical approach.

This is a great opportunity to get real workshop experience in a professional electronics environment, even if your background isn't directly in electronics.

what you'll be doing

Placing and soldering SMD (surface-mount) components onto PCBs, inspecting your work under magnification for quality, and keeping your work area clean and organised.

what we're looking for

No formal electronics knowledge is required - we'll train you on everything technical. What matters most is that you have genuinely steady hands, strong attention to detail, patience with repetitive fine work, and a reliable and conscientious attitude.

If you have a background in any kind of fine manual work - model making, jewellery, embroidery, art, dentistry, or similar - that's a real bonus, though not essential.
